Patient Guidelines for Scheduling an Appointment for Monoclonal Antibodies
Patients need to call the office at 336-352-4900 and dial extension 109 to leave a voicemail for the nurse.
Do not continue calling the office after you have left a voicemail for the nurse. Repeat calls will slow down the system and delay call-backs.
Do not come into the office if you have tested positive for Covid-19.
Required Criteria for Receiving the Antibody Treament
You must meet ALL the following criteria:
Must have proof of a positive Coivd-19 viral PCR test from a hospital, doctor, or pharmacy. At-home tests will not be accepted. (If you were tested outside of our office, you will need to bring a copy of your positive result with you.)
Must be within 7 days of symptom onset. (From when your symptoms started, not 7 days from positive results.)
Age 12 or older.
Weigh at least 88 pounds.
Oxygen sats at 90% or above.
AND meet one of the following circumstances:
Immunocomprimised AND be at high-risk for severe disease progression, hospitalization, or death.
Have a diagnosis of a high-risk medical condition. (heart, kidney, or lung disease, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, etc.)
Patients NOT Qualified for Antibody Treatment
Those who have been hospitalized due to Covid-19.
Those who require oxygen therapy due to Covid-19.
If you require an increase in your baseline oxygen flow rate due to Covid-19 for those already on chronic oxygen therapy.
